Compared to the second quarter of 2023, Serbia's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 1.3% in July-September, according to seasonally adjusted GDP data, the statistical office said in a data release.
The year-on-year comparison released on Thursday represents an increase of 0.1 percentage points compared to the flash estimate of 3.5% published last month by the statistical office.
Last month, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said it expects Serbia's economy to expand by 2% this year, affirming its projection made in April. The World Bank also said it expects the country's GDP to grow by 2% in 2023, lowering its June forecast by 0.3 percentage points.
In September, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it sees Serbia's economic output increasing by 1.8% in 2023, lowering its May forecast by 0.2 percentage points.
In 2022, Serbia's economy expanded by an estimated 2.3%.
