UPDATE 1 - Macedonia's August Net Salary Rises 9.5% Y/Y - Table

October 28 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's average net salary was 15,820 denars ($318.7/253.9 euro) in August, up 9.5% from a year earlier, the Macedonian Statistics Office said on Tuesday.

UPDATE 1 - Macedonia's August Net Salary Rises 9.5% Y/Y - Table

The increase reflects the rising wages in construction (+21.8%), transport and communication (+20.0%), and health care and social services (+12.2%), the Statistics Office said in a statement.

Month-on-month, the net salary in Macedonia rose by 0.1% in August from 15,808 denars in July.
