December 18 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian provider of repair services to power facilities Centralna Energoremontna Baza (CERB) said on Tuesday it will carry out by end-2013 several projects in Bosnia in Herzegovina worth over 1.0 million levs ($673,000 /511,000 euro) in total.

UPDATE 1 - Bulgaria's CERB awarded power equipment repairs in Bosnia

The first project includes technical inspection and repair works on a 100 megawatt generator of Bosnia’s thermal power plant (TPP) Kakanj, wort a total of 100,000 levs, CERB said in a statement.

Another project, also worth 100,000 levs, is for non destructive testing of the same TPP, Dimitar Beleliev chairman of the company’s board of directors told SeeNews.

Other contracts for the repair of transformers and supply of electrical fittings for the TPP are yet to be signed, he added.

The contract was awarded by Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda BiH and is due to be completed within two months.

CERB expects its profitability from the projects to be between 13 and 15%.

CERB, set up in 1948, offers a wide range of services, including repairs of electrical rotating machines, transformers, autotransformers and reactors, diagnostics and tests of electrical machines and materials, dynamic balancing and vibration analysis.

CERB was privatised in 2001. Now it is owned by local company Dibel.
