On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices added 0.5% in November, after increasing by 0.8% in the previous month, NSI said in a statement.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which have the largest weight in the consumer basket, rose by 6.0% year-on-year during the review period, while prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels added 2.6%.
Prices in the transport segment decreased by 0.5% on the year.
Bulgaria’s EU-harmonised consumer price index (HICP) added 2.2% on the year in November and edged up 0.3% compared to October.
