UPC Romania adds 14,200 digital cable subscribers in Q3

November 5 (SeeNews) - The number of digital cable subscribers of UPC Romania rose by 14,200 on the quarter to 404,200 at the end of September, the company’s parent, U.S.-based Liberty Global, said on Monday.

UPC Romania adds 14,200 digital cable subscribers in Q3

The number of analog cable subscribers fell by 18,600 to 446,400 at the end of September 2012 compared with the second quarter of the year, Liberty Global said in its report.

UPC Romania had 316,700 Internet subscribers at the end of the third quarter, 10,300 more than at the end of June 2012.

The number of UPC Romania’s telephony subscribers rose by 5,600 on the quarter to 212,200 at the end of September.

The total number of subscribers rose by 2.68% to 1.15 million users on the year.
