Unior leads Slovenian blue-chip decliners, SBITOP falls

October 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] fell the most among the blue-chip companies in Friday’s trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data indicated.

Unior shares closed 1.88% lower at 18.005 euro ($20.88) in a trading turnover of 130 euro.

The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, fell 0.30% to 796.53 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index closed 0.73% lower.

Trading turnover on the LJSE rose to 561,210 euro on Friday from 387,230 euro on Thursday.

Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the day’s largest trading turnover, of 122,740 euro.

Slovenian home appliances manufacturer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the top blue-chip gainer on Friday, closing 0.90% higher at 5.60 euro.
