Net interest income slumped to 5.8 billion dinars in the six months ended June 30 from 12.1 billion dinars in the first half of 2016, while net fee and commission income decreased to 2.1 billion dinars from 3.8 billion dinars, UniCredit Bank Srbija said in its H1 2017 financial statement posted on the bank's website.
The bank saw its expenses for impairment of financial assets and credit risk off-balance sheet items shrink to 834.1 million dinars in the first half of 2017 from 3.0 billion dinars in the prior-year period.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 216.7 million dinars, while deposits totalled 255.6 billion dinars at the end of the first half of 2017.
