UniCredit cons net profit in Slovenia more than doubles in 2023

February 5 (SeeNews) - Italian banking group UniCredit recorded a 45 million euro ($48 million) consolidated net profit from operations in Slovenia in 2023, up from 20 million euro in the previous year, it said on Monday.

UniCredit's net interest income in Slovenia increased 89 million euro from 48 million euro, whereas total revenue grew 47% to 113 million euro, the banking group said in an annual financial statement.

Net operating profit went up 71 million euro from 28 million euro, while operating costs remained stable at 46 million euro.

Customer loans decreased by an annual 7.7% to 1.9 billion euro, while customer deposits added 16.6% to 3.0 billion euro.
