Uljanik Plovidba leads blue-chip gainers on Zagreb bourse, indices mostly down

Uljanik's shares closed 7.33% higher at 161.00 kuna.

Confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS] paced the blue-chip decliners as its share price fell 5.66% to 450.00 kuna.

Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP-R-A] generated the highest trading turnover of 709,855.65 kuna. The company's share price went down 1.4% and closed at 45.01 kuna.

The bourse's total trading turnover fell to 4.4 million kuna ($693,600/586,100 euro) on Friday from 5.1 million kuna on Thursday.

The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE dropped 0.04% to 1,862.48 points, after rising 0.75% on Thursday.

The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.23% to 1,098.66 points after going up 0.44% in the previous trading session.

The fixed-income CROBIS index edged down 0.06% to 110.9818 points.
