February 28 (SeeNews) - Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Albanian prime minister Edi Rama signed on Wednesday an agreement on cooperation in several areas, including trade, economy, tourism and technology, the Ukrainian government said.
The two countries will also cooperate in the field of environment protection and the rational use of natural resources, the government said in a statement published on its website.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of a summit in Tirana aiming to increase support for Ukraine in Southeast Europe as the war with Russia enters its third year.
Zelenskyy noted the defence assistance provided by Albania to Ukraine and thanked the Albanian government for the decision to allocate a new tranche of military support, including equipment and ammunition, according to another statement published on the Ukrainian president's website.
Albania has not disclosed details about its military assistance to Ukraine.
