Poseidon Property has invested 30 million euro ($35.4 million) in the construction of the retail park and has hired 400 employees for its operation, while further 50 will join the workforce in the second stage of the development of Capitol Park Rakovica, Belgrade mayor Sinisa Mali said, as quoted in a statement by the government on Thursday.

The complex has a retail space of 65,000 square metres and is located in the municipality of Rakovica, the director of the Serbian unit of Poseidon Property, James Gunn, said.

Capitol Park Rakovica is the third retail park of Poseidon Property in Serbia. The company also operates retail complexes in Sabac and Leskovac and plans further investments in the country, the Belgrade city government said.

Elsewhere in Southeastern Europe (SEE), Poseidon Property also has a presence in Croatia and Slovenia.
