October 18 (SeeNews) - Two Bulgarian companies are awaiting the government's approval for investment projects totalling 11.6 million levs ($5.8 million/5.9 million euro), a press officer at the innovation ministry told SeeNews on Tuesday.
A project worth an estimated 10 million levs was submitted by a Bulgarian manufacturing company, the press officer said in a telephone interview.
Another unnamed company, which operates in the logistics sector, plans to invest 1.6 million levs.
The two projects are in the process of being reviewed by the InvestBulgaria government agency. The press officer could not ascertain the timeline for completion of the review.
The investments were announced on Monday during a visit to Varna by caretaker innovation minister Alexander Pulev, who did not disclose any details.
