Twelve file bids in 11.3 mln euro tender for road repairs in southwestern Bulgaria

October 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's road infrastructure agency said on Friday it has received 12 offers in a 22 million levs ($13.4 million/11.3 million euro) tender for the reconstruction of a 32.5-kilometre road section in the country's southwestern region.

The tender for the reconstruction of the road connecting the towns of Dupnitsa and Samokov is divided into two subcontracts.

Bids for both subcontracts were filed by tie-ups Klisura 2017, Yugozapad, Geopat 2728, GBS - infrastructure engineering, PST Group, Pat Dupnitsa-Samokov, Ekip Pat 62, APP Klisura, and by local company Trace Group Hold, the agency said in a statement.

Bulgarian civil engineering company Hydrostroy and tie-ups Dupnitsa Klisura and Strabag BP Regioni submitted offers just for the first subcontract.

The first subcontract relates to the reconstruction of 16.8 kilometres of the road and has an indicative value of 9.0 million levs.The second subcontract is priced at 13 million levs and envisages the reconstruction of a 15.7-kilometre section of the road.

The works on both sections must be completed within 15 months.

The contract will be financed from the EU operational programme Regions in Growth 2014-2020.
