Turkey's Ziraat Bank seeks regulatory nod for $4.0 bln MTN programme

ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 30 (SeeNews) – Turkish state-controlled lender Ziraat Bank [BIST:TCZB] said it has applied for regulatory approval to establish a $4.0 billion (3.3 billion euro) medium term note (MTN) programme.

Under the proposed MTN programme, Ziraat Bank plans to issue debt instruments in U.S. dollars or denominated in other currency on international markets. The debt will be issued in one or more issues with different maturities, the bank said in a bourse filing.
