Turkey's Ziraat Bank plans up to 15 bln lira (5.1 bln euro) debt issue

ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 17 (SeeNews) – Turkey's state-controlled lender Ziraat Bank [BIST:TCZB] said it has decided to issue up to 15 billion Turkish lira ($6.3 billion/5.1 billion euro) in debt instruments on the domestic market.

The bank will issue the debt in one or more issues with maturities of up to five years, it said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.

Ziraat Bank will apply for regulatory approvals of the planned issue.
