December 3 (SeeNews) - Turkish oil refining company Tupras [IST:TUPRS] plans to suspend production at its refinery in Izmir from January 1 to February 28 next year for maintenance and renovation activities.
The suspension will result in a drop in production by about 250,000 tonnes per month but sales will not be affected as the decrease in output will be compensated by existing stocks and increased production in other refineries, Tupras said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
Tupras produces LPG, fuel oil, base oil, bitumen and other products. The company operates refineries in Izmit, Izmir, Kirikkale and Batman.
