Istanbul had the largest share, of 18.9%, in the total, followed by Ankara and Izmir with 11.3% and 6.4%, respectively, the institute said in a statement.
Mortgaged housing sales had a share of 35.6% of all housing sales in Turkey in the reviewed period, rising by 0.9% on the year to 36,925 units. Other sales increased 1.2% to 66,858.
Sales of new development in Turkey decreased 0.3% year-on-year to 48,128 units in November, while sales of existing stock rose 2.3% to 55,655 units.
As many as 1,687 housing units were sold to foreigners during the reviewed period.
