Turkey's KT Kira Sertifikalari sells 50 mln lira (18 mln euro) in sukuk

ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 30 (SeeNews) – Turkish Islamic bonds issuer KT Kira Sertifikalari Varlik Kiralama [BIST:KTKVK] said on Tuesday it has sold 50 million Turkish lira ($22 million/18 million euro) in 83-day lease certificates, or sukuk, in the domestic market.

The Islamic bonds, sold to qualified investors, carry an annual simple interest rate of 9.00%, the company said in a bourse filing.

KT Kira Sertifikalari is a wholly-owned unit of Islamic lender Kuveyt Turk which is controlled by Kuwaiti Islamic financial services provider Kuwait Finance House.
