Turkey's INTEC, China's CHINT to develop 86 MWp solar park in Romania

December 19 (SeeNews) - Turkey-based INTEC Energy Solutions and Chinese company CHINT Solar said on Monday they are partnering to develop a solar power plant in Romania with a total installed capacity of 86 MWp, their second in the country .

As part of their partnership, the two companies will also build two 52 MWp and 45 MWp solar power plants in Poland, INTEC and CHINT said in a joint press release.

The two companies will provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for the three projects, which are being completed on behalf of an unnamed customer and will have a total installed power of 183 MWp.

INTEC is a developer of solar power plant solutions. The company specialises in EPC and operations and maintenance services, employing a workforce of approximately 400. INTEC operates internationally and has delivered over 130 projects, with a total capacity of 1.7 GWp.

CHINT Solar is an international provider of smart energy solutions. Founded in 1984, it manufactures and sells photovoltaic modules, along with developing investment and construction projects for power stations, energy storage, electricity distribution network, or multi-energy complementation. According to the press release, the company has installed a total photovoltaic capacity of over 8GW worldwide.

In May, the two companies announced they were partnering to develop a 154 MWp solar power plant in Romania.
