Turkey's end-Nov central govt debt rises 4.2% y/y

ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 23 (SeeNews) – Turkey’s central government's debt stock rose 4.2% year-on-year to 602.1 billion Turkish lira ($259.7 billion/212.3 billion euro) at the end of November, the Treasury said.

As much as 413.5 billion lira of the debt stock at the end of November was denominated in local currency and 188.6 billion lira was denominated in foreign currencies, the Treasury said in a statement on Monday

The central government debt stock reached 599.7 billion lira at the end of October, Treasury data showed.
