Turkey's consumer confidence index rises 3.2% in Sept

September 22 (SeeNews) - Turkey's consumer confidence index rose by 3.2% month-on-month in September, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.

The index measured 82 points in September, compared with 79.4 points in August and 77.7 points in September 2019, TurkStat said in a press release.

The index tracking financial situation expectations in the next 12 months rose by 1.7% month-on-month to 79.1 points in September.

The general economic situation expectation index increased by 4.8% to 83.3 points in the month under review.

The financial situation of household index compared to the last 12 months period rose by 5.8% to 71.8 in September.

Assessment on spending money on durable goods index in the next 12 months increased by 1.3% month-on-month and became 93.8 in September.
