ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 16 (SeeNews) – None of the bids for a 10-year licence to provide ground handling services at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Tanzania’s city of Dar Es Salaam has been selected, Turkish ground handling services provider Celebi Hava Servisi [BIST:CLEBI] said on Tuesday.

Turkey's Celebi says no winner in Tanzanian airport ground handling services tender

Celebi Hava Servisi received the information from the Tanzanian Airports Authority Services which called the tender, the company said in a bourse filing.

The Turkish firm said in May that it had placed a bid jointly with Tanzanian firm Universal Electronics & Hardware Ltd for the licence.

Julius Nyerere International Airport handled about 39,000 flights and 2.4 million passengers in 2013. Currently, only one company has a licence to provide ground handling services at the airport, Celebi said in May.
