Turkey's BMC to deliver 320 CNG buses to Azerbaijan's Baku

December 22 (SeeNews) - Turkish commercial and military vehicle manufacturer BMC said on Tuesday it has signed an agreement to deliver 320 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses to Azerbaijan's Baku Transport Agency.

Deal, business, corporate contracts

Under the deal, the buses are expected to be delivered in 2021, BMC said in a press release.

The contract was signed during Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Azerbaijan, BMC added.

The value of the contract was not disclosed in the press release.

BMC, set up in 1964, exports to over 80 countries and has more than 2,500 employees, its website shows. The company has manufactured more than 300,000 vehicles to date.
