Turkey's Aksa Enerji guides for 2015 revenue of 2.5 bln lira (882 mln euro)

ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 23 (SeeNews) – Turkish independent power producer Aksa Enerji [BIST:AKSEN] said on Tuesday it targets 2.5 billion Turkish lira ($1.1 billion/882 million euro) revenue in 2015.

The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) projection for the next year is in the range of between 420 million lira and 430 million lira, it said in a bourse filing.

Aksa Enerji expects, in 2015, to produce 10.3 TWh of electricity and to sell 12.7 TWh of power, of which 65% is to be sold under bilateral agreements and the remaining 35% on the spot market.

The company turned to a consolidated net profit of 57 million lira in the nine months through September from a loss of 76 million lira a year ago. Its consolidated nine-month revenue rose 15.4% to 1.5 billion lira. During the nine-month period, the company produced 6.37 TWh of power and sold 7.59 TWh, its consolidated financial report showed.
