Turkey's 990 MW thermal power plant privatisation tender gets four bidders

ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 22 (SeeNews) – Turkey’s Privatisation Administration said it has received four bids in the tender for the privatisation of the 990 MW Soma B thermal power plant in the western Turkish province of Manisa.

The bidders include Turkish companies Alsim Alarko Sanayi Tesisleri ve Ticaret, Kalyon Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret, Konya Seker Sanayi ve Ticaret, and Bereket Enerji ve Uretim, the privatisation authority said in a statement on Friday.

In November, the administration extended the final bidding deadline for Soma B to December 19 from December 1.
