Turkey to raise minimum net monthly wage to 1,000 lira (353 euro) in 2015

ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 30 (SeeNews) – Turkey will raise the minimum net monthly wage in two stages to 1,000 Turkish lira ($429/353 euro) in 2015, the labor and social security ministry said on Tuesday.

The minimum net monthly wage will be increased to 949.07 million lira in the first half of the coming year and to 1,000 lira in the second half of 2015, the ministry said in a statement.

In 2014, the net minimum monthly wage was increased in two stages by a total of 10.9% to 891.03 lira, according to data from the ministry's website.
