February 12 (SeeNews) - Air France-KLM's low-cost carrier Transavia plans to launch direct flights connecting Albanian capital Tirana to the Dutch capital Amsterdam on March 6, the operator of the airport of Tirana, TIA, said on Monday.
Tirana-Amsterdam flights are scheduled to depart twice weekly, TIA said in a LinkedIn post.
Currently, Tirana passengers book flights to the airport of Eindhoven, a city near Amsterdam, to visit the Dutch capital.
Transavia, which has been operating at Tirana airport since 2017, currently offers flights exclusively from Tirana to Paris.
