Trade in TK Hold shares boosts Bulgarian bourse turnover, SOFIX falls

SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 29 (SeeNews) – Trading in shares of Bulgarian diversified group TK Hold [BUL:T24] generated 84% of Friday's turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.

TK Hold shares closed 6.00% higher at 1.590 levs ($0.96/0.81 euro) in a trading volume of 1.4 million units.

Total trading turnover on the Sofia bourse rose to 2.67 million levs on Friday from 1.4 million levs on Thursday.

The blue-chip SOFIX index decreased 0.18% to 688.11 points, after adding 0.77% on Thursday.

The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, increased 0.18% to 134.34 points, after rising 1.36% on Thursday.

The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, dropped 0.43% to 114.88 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index closed 0.01% lower.

The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.53% to 559.26 points, following a 0.71% increase on Thursday.

Hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] was the top gainer among the blue chips, rising by 1.88% to 8.150 levs as 1 030 shares changed hands.

Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the most traded blue-chip company on Friday, as 21,459 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 4.368 levs.

Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4IDF] fell the most among blue chips, closing 2.46% lower at 1.031 levs.
