Trade in Port Fleet 99 boosts Sofia bourse turnover, Eurohold shares drop 5.03%

SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 25 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.58% lower at 422.39 points on Wednesday, mostly hurt by a 5.03% drop in the share price of local group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH].

Other notable decliners included heavyweight drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] and diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR], which lost 2.61% and 2.08%, respectively.

Trading turnover was boosted by ship towage company Port Fleet 99 [BUL:9PF], which started trading on the stock exchange on Monday. A total of 335,615 shares in the company changed hands in five deals worth a total of 2.35 million levs ($1.4 million/1.2 million euro). Port Fleet 99's share price ended unchanged at 7 levs.

Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to 2.8 million levs.

The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, decreased 0.24% to 96.97 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, slid 0.33% to 479.93 points.

The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, dropped 0.75% to 130.77 points.
