Total foreign remittances to Kosovo flattish y/y in Jan

Compared with December 2023, total foreign remittances to Kosovo decreased 33.8% in January, according to preliminary figures published by Kosovo's central bank.

Money transfer operators were Kosovo remitters’ preferred way of sending money to their relatives back home, delivering 53.6 million euro.

Total foreign remittances to Kosovo grew 10% to 1.34 billion euro in 2023.
