Telamon opens new factory in N. Macedonia

June 21 (SeeNews) - U.S.-based Telamon, which is active in assembly of switches and wire harnesses for the automotive industry, opened a new facility for the production of automotive electrical cables in North Macedonia, the country's government said on Wednesday.

Telamon opens new factory in N. Macedonia

The new plant, which spans 2,100 sq m, will increase the company's headcount in the country to 500 from 200, North Macedonia's government said in a press release.

The factory will bring Telamon's total investment in North Macedonia to 8 million euro ($8.7 million) from 5 million euro spent to date, the press release read.

Telamon also has production facilities in the U.S., India and Mexico.
