Technopolis opens new store in Bulgaria’s Gabrovo

November 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian retail chain Technopolis said it opened a new 4.0 million lev ($2.65 million/2.05 million euro) hypermarket in the town of Gabrovo, in northcentral Bulgaria.

The hypermarket covers an area of 3,700 square metres (sq m) with a trade area of 2,000 sq m and 50 parking spaces, Technopolis said in a statement on its website on Friday.

It employs 45 people.

So far, the company has invested over 172 million levs in the country, creating almost 2,000 jobs. It plans to launch another store in Sofia’s shopping centre Bulgaria Mall on December 1.

Technopolis (www.technopolis.bg) has a network of 29 stores in 24 locations in Bulgaria.
