TEB Kosovo's Q3 net profit up 18% y/y

November 1 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s TEB, fully owned by Turkey’s banking TEB Holding AS, said it recorded a net profit of 18.4 million euro ($19.4 million) in the third quarter of 2023, an increase from the 15.6 million euro net profit booked in the prior-year period.

TEB’s loan portfolio amounted to 578 million euro at the end of September 2023, from 522 million a year earlier, TEB said in a data release on its website earlier this week.

The bank’s deposit portfolio rose to 684 million euro in end-September from 666 million euro a year earlier.

Total assets reached 809 million euro at the end of the third quarter of 2023, from 765 million euro in end-September 2022.

TEB was the fifth largest lender by assets among 11 banks that operated in Kosovo in the third quarter of 2023, according to Kosovo’s bank association.
