SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 17 (SeeNews) – A store of Greek clothes retailer Sprider Stores in the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia has been put up for sale by a private enforcement agent at a starting price of 2.4 million euro ($3.0 million), a public auction notice showed.

Sprider store put up for sale in Sofia for 2.4 mln euro

Bids for the store, which has a total area of 2,897 square metres and comprises three levels, can be placed by January 19 and the winner will be announced on the following day, according to a notice published on the website of the Bulgarian Chamber of Private Enforcement Agents on Tuesday.

This is the third attempt to sell the store.

In September 2013, Sprider said it will exit the Bulgarian and Romanian markets in line with a business restructuring and cost reduction plan. Sprider Stores opened its first clothes store in Bulgaria in 2006 and in 2011 it operated eight stores throughout the country. At end-2012 they were reduced to five.
