September 13 (SeeNews) - Croatian retail chain SPAR Hrvatska said on Tuesday it has started the construction of a logistics centre in Donja Zdencica, Zagreb county, which is currently the company's biggest investment valued at more than 100 million euro ($102 million).
Once the logistics centre is completed, which is planned to happen by the end of 2024, it will significantly improve the company's operations, SPAR Hrvatska said in a statement.
The new logistics facility will cover 75,000 square metres with a storage capacity of more than 100,000 pallets. It will be built on a land plot of 410,000 square metres and will be the company's biggest one in Croatia. It will create some 500 jobs initially.
