The plant, a greenfield investment, will employ 1,000 workers, the Smedereva Palanka municipality said in a statement earlier this week, following a meeting of Kyungshin representatives with municipality officials.

The plant will be built in the Guberas industrial zone of Smederevska Palanka, some 80 km south of the capital Belgrade.
