December 7 (SeeNews) - Nearly 42.52 million shares of Romanian blue-chip bank Banca Transilvania changed hands for a combined 102.04 million lei ($36 million/24 million euro) in five transactions on the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Monday, bourse data showed.
The number of shares corresponds to a stake of 4.01% in the bank. The shares changed hands at 2.40 lei each, figures showed.

Banca Transilvania shares closed 3.15% down at 2.15 lei on Monday.
The parties to the deal were not immediately known.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) holds a 14.98% stake in the bank, data from Romania's Central Depository showed. Individuals own 43.9% and companies hold 41.1% of the bank's shares.
