Some 267,300 Shares of Romanian Cargo Co Port Bazinul Nou Trade for 2.7 Mln Lei (636,000 Euro)

BUCHAREST (Romania), December 3 (SeeNews) – A total of 267,324 shares of Romanian cargo handling company Port Bazinul Nou changed hands for a combined 2.7 million lei ($960,000/636,000 euro) in 50 transactions on the over-the-counter market RASDAQ on Thursday, bourse data showed.

The number of shares corresponds to a stake of 8.4% in the company. The stock changed hands at an average price of 10 lei per share, up from Wednesday's close of 6.2 lei, RASDAQ data showed.

The buyers and the sellers were not immediately identified.

Port Bazinul Nou operates the Bazinul Nou port on the Danube river in Galati, eastern Romania. It also provides sea and river transportation of timber and steel products.

Metaltrade International was the largest shareholder in Port Bazinul Nou holding a 88.7% stake at end-June, data from Romania's Central Depository showed. Smaller shareholders owned the balance.
