Some 240,000 shares of Bulgaria's Bulgartabac trade on bourse

SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 2 (SeeNews) – A total of 237,787 shares, equivalent to a stake of 3.23% in Bulgarian tobacco group Bulgartabac Holding [BUL:57B], were traded for 17.8 million levs ($30 million/23.3 million euro) on the Sofia bourse on Friday, stock exchange data showed.

The shares changed hands in 22 transactions at an average price of 74.99 levs each, Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) data indicated.

The parties to the deals were not disclosed.

The tobacco group closed 4.17% up at 75 levs on the BSE on Friday.

On Monday, 607,006 Bulgartabac Holding shares changed hands for 45.5 million levs in two block deals on the bourse. Nearly the same amount was traded at the end of last week.

Bulgartabac, acquired last year by VTB Capital, the investment arm of Russia’s VTB Group, is undergoing restructuring.
