Some 24,000 shares of Macedonia's Evropa trade on bourse

SKOPJE (Macedonia), December 28 (SeeNews) – A total of 24,005 shares of Macedonian confectionery maker Evropa, equal to 9.75% of the company’s ordinary shares, changed hands for 75.5 million denars ($1.6 million/1.2 million euro) on the Skopje bourse, stock exchange data indicated.

The shares traded at a price of 3,145 denars apiece on Thursday, Macedonian Stock Exchange data showed.

It was not immediately clear if they were sold in one or more transactions. The parties to the deal or deals were not disclosed.

Evropa’s equity capital is divided into 246,094 ordinary and 9,489 preference shares.

Privately-held Evropa (www.evropa.com.mk) produces chocolates, wafers and candy and owns six confectionery stores in Skopje.
