"SoftwareONE gives HeleCloud the opportunity to operate at scale, a benefit for our customers. It is the ideal platform for enabling customers of all sizes worldwide to benefit from cloud by using HeleCloud’s repeatable success patterns and accelerators for cloud adoption. The integration into SoftwareONE will allow our employees to have an even bigger impact," Dob Todorov, CEO and co-founder of HeleCloud, said in the statement.
HeleCloud’s current leadership team and employees will integrate into SoftwareONE’s AWS practice.
HeleCloud, founded in 2016, is a cloud-native consulting, software architecture, infrastructure engineering and managed service provider with end-to-end cloud delivery capabilities on AWS, serving the EMEA markets from three locations across Europe: the UK, The Netherlands, and Bulgaria. Most of the engineers and consultants of the company as well as its software development team are based in Bulgaria.
HeleCloud's consolidated turnover rose by an annual 70% in 2020.
Last year, HeleCloud acquired 100% of Bulgarian cloud software engineering company DataStork for an undisclosed price. The deal, supported through an investment by London-based Business Growth Fund (BGF), is in line with HeleCloud's ambition to become a leading partner for public cloud services in Europe, HeleCloud said at the time.
Stans-headquartered SoftwareONE is a global provider of end-to-end software and cloud technology solutions. With an IP and technology-driven service portfolio, it enables companies to holistically develop and implement their commercial, technology, and digital strategies. This is achieved by modernizing applications and migrating critical workloads on public clouds, while simultaneously managing and optimizing related software and cloud assets and licensing, according to the company's LinkedIn profile.
