November 25 (SeeNews) - Sofmedica Bulgaria has signed a 2.12 million levs ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) contract for supply of surgical instruments and medical consumables with local obstetrics and gynaecology hospital Maichin Dom, the latter said on Monday.
The deal was signed on November 19, the Sofia-based hospital said in a notice.
Under the terms of the contract, Sofmedica Bulgaria will supply specific instruments for robotic-assisted surgeries over a one-year period.
The company submitted the sole offer in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
Sofmedica Bulgaria, a wholly-owned unit of Cyprus-based Klonus Invest, is mainly active in the trade in medical consumables and has a registered capital of 100,000 levs, according to information available on the website of Bulgaria's commercial register.
