January 31 (SeeNews) - Three of the five main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed higher on Wednesday, whereas the blue-chip SOFIX lost 0.13% to 786.68 points, bourse data showed.
SOFIX was sapped by First Investment Bank [BUL:FIB], which fell by 5.45% to 3.12 levs, and diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], which tumbled 3.42% to 0.734 levs.

On the other hand, the biggest gain in the benchmark index was posted by fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH], which added 6.79% to 23.60 levs.
The BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, plunged by 2.80% to 101.18 points. It was dragged down by a 13.33% slump in solar photovoltaic equipment supplier AmonRa Energy [BUL:AMON] to 13.00 levs and a 12.32% drop in beehive-monitoring software developer Bee Smart Technologies [BUL:BEE] to 12.10 levs.
Meanwhile, the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up 0.09% to 162.17 points on the back of the gain in Neochim. It was additionally boosted by a 5.26% leap in aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet [BUL:ALCM] to 7.00 levs.
The rise at Neochim also spurred on the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index ended the session 0.33% higher at 807.82 points, further lifted by software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH], which climbed 3.45% to 0.75 levs.
Finally, the BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, grew by 0.06% to 190.31 points after a 0.30% increase at Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.32 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange slid to 801,646 levs ($444,182/409,874 euro) on Wednesday from 902,119 levs a day earlier.
Most of the day's turnover, or 454,583 levs, was generated by IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] after 7,731 shares changed hands. The stock closed 0.68% lower at 58.80 levs.
Digital insurance broker Boleron said on Wednesday that it will carry out on February 15 an initial public offering on the BEAM growth market of the Sofia bourse, seeking to raise up to 11.73 million levs.
