SOFIX's best performer was IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG], which grew by 3.58% to 69.40 levs. It was followed by pharmaceuticals maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA], which increased by 0.96% to 6.32 levs.

The two companies also boosted the broader BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, by 0.40% to 165.97 points. The constituent that gained the most, however, was poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6], jumping 4.90% to 1.50 levs.

The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, climbed by 0.06% to 190.00 points, following a 0.30% rise in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.35 levs.

In comparison, the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, lost 0.04% to 809.73 points. It was set back by a 4.88% tumble at fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] to 19.50 levs and a 2.86% decline in venture capital firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C] to 17.00 levs.

For its part, the BEAMX, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, sank 1.27% to 97.85 points. It was mostly driven down by cargo drone developer Dronamics's special purpose vehicle Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON], which dropped 8.76% to 2.50 levs.

Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse soared to 5.08 million levs ($2.8 million/2.6 million euro) on Thursday from 361,327 levs on Wednesday.

Shelly Group was the top stock by turnover once again, generating 383,504 levs with 5,526 shares changing hands.
