The project, divided into two lots, envisages preparing a working project, along with the construction, equipment supply and commissioning of two metro stations along the new section, Metropoliten said in a tender notice published in the public procurement register on Tuesday.

The contract has a term of three years. Potential candidates can submit their bids until July 18.

The first line of the Sofia metro comprises 16 stations and runs from Slivnitsa in the neighbourhood of Lyulin to Business Park in the district of Mladost.
