Sofia bourse blue-chip index ends 3-day winning streak as Sirma Group shares slide

SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 22 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index ended a three-day winning streak, losing 0.17% to 564.22 points on Tuesday.

Software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] fell most among blue chips, dropping 4.29% to 0.67 levs.

The two other decliners among SOFIX members on Tuesday were diversified groups Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] and Chimimport [BUL:6C4], which erased 2.52% and 0.59% of their respective share prices.

The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, edged up 0.03% to 111.19 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.19% to 501.49 points.

The BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, edged down 0.02% to 127.77 points.

Total regulated market trading turnover rose to 458,000 levs ($261,000/234,000 euro) on Tuesday from 244,00 levs on Monday.

Turnover on Tuesday was mostly formed by deals in Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] shares, which accounted for a turnover of over 354,000 levs.
