The company was ranked first in a tender for the delivery of two Airbus А319 – 112 opened in August, the ministry said in a statement.
Two other companies - Galen Aviation and Investment Ltd. and Aviation Advisers International Inc., placed bids by the September 30 deadline. The latter was disqualified as its price offer failed to meet the tender requirements, the ministry said.
The deal will be signed after the 10-day term for appeal expires.
Transport Ministry officials declined to comment on the price offers of the bidders.
The two aircraft should have up to 100 seats each, business and economy class, and their price should not exceed $40 million each, the ministry said earlier.
The two previous tenders for the supply of new aircraft for the government's air travel service failed, according to local media reports that gave no details.
