December 4 (SeeNews) - Slovenian hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] said it has launched the sale of its tourism unit Unitur as part of an earlier agreement with creditor banks.
The 100% stake in Unitur will be divested in line with a December 2016 syndicated loan agreement signed by Unior and its creditor banks, under which the company's non-core assets have been determined for sale, Unior said in a statement with the Ljubljana bourse earlier this week.

Unitur was established in 2017 after a spin-off of Unior's tourism programme into an independent entity, the statement said.
Unitur runs spa and hotel operator Terme Zrece and ski centre Rogla, both located in northeast Slovenia.
Unior shares traded at 14.5 euro ($16.0) on the Ljubljana bourse by 11:40 CET on Wednesday, after closing flat at 14.0 euro on Tuesday.
