June 5 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's biggest insurer, Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG], has said its shareholders endorsed the payment of a gross dividend of 1.75 euro ($1.90) per share for 2023, it said.
The shareholders approved a dividend payout of 39.8 million euro from its 87.9 million euro accumulated profit at their general meeting on June 4, Zavarovalnica Triglav said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Monday.
The remaining part of the 2023 profit in the amount of 48.1 million euro, will remain undistributed, Zavarovalnica Triglav said.
Zavarovalnica Triglav paid a gross dividend of 2.50 euro per share for 2022.
Triglav Group, the biggest unit of Zavarovalnica Triglav, turned to a net profit of 16.3 million euro in 2023 from a 7.0 million euro loss recorded in the previous year
