Exports in January-October grew 4.7% on the year to 45.848 billion euro, while imports went up 1.0% to 47.679 billion euro, the statistical office, SURS, said in a statement.
The European Union was Slovenia’s main trading partner in January-October, absorbing 25.675 billion euro of the country's exports and providing 26.560 billion euro of its imports.
In October alone, Slovenia's exports went up 11.6% on the year to 4.837 billion euro, while imports fell 0.7% to 4.856 billion euro, resulting in a 19.7 million euro trade deficit for the month.
